Description:
Bulb ovate-globose, 3-5 cm in diam., with blackish papery tunics. Stem 90-150 cm tall. Leaves 5-6, lorate, 4-8 cm wide, smooth, glabrous, shorter than the stem. Spathe 1.5 times shorter than umbel, with a very short beak. Umbel globose, dense, many-flowered, 5-10 cm in diam. Pedicels unequal, without bracts. Perianth star-shaped; tepals white with green midvein, linear, 11 mm long, after anthesis reflexed and curled. Filaments slightly shorter than tepals, at the base adnate to perianth, subulate; inner ones 1.5 times as broad as outer, with lateral teeth.
