Description:
Bulb solitary, globose, up to 3 cm in diam.; outer tunics papery, greyish. Stem 65–70 сm tall, smooth. Leaves 4–5, widely linear, 20-35 mm wide, on the lower side densely covered by white hairs directed downstairs. Spathe membranaceous, with short beak. Umbel nearly globose, multi-flowered. Pedicels unequal, many times longer than tepals. Perianth star-shaped. Tepals 5 mm long, pink with violet midvein, linear, obtuse, after anthesis quickly twisted. Filaments slightly shorter than tepals, up to ¼ connate with perianth and up to 2 mm each other, triangular-subulate, inner ones slightly broader than outer. Ovary shortly stipitate. Capsule nearly globose, slightly larger than perianth, ca. 6 mm in diam.
