Description:
Bulb ovoid, 0.75-1.5(2) cm diam.; outer tunics brown, reticulate-fibrous; bulblets few, yellowish, reticulate-veined and crystalline. Stem 20-30(60) cm tall, ribbed. Leaves 2-3(4), semicylindrical, fistulose, 1-3 mm wide, sheathing the lower 1/2 of the stem. Spathe caducous, with a long beak. Umbel spherical, about 3-4.5 cm diam., dense, many-flowered. Pedicels 1.5-2 cm long; bracteoles present. Perianth ovoid; tepals white with a dirty green median vein, 4-4.5 mm lg, oblong, acute; the outer ones keeled. Stamens exserted; filaments ciliate at base, almost 2 times longet than the tepals; the outer ones entire, triangular-subulate, the inner ones tricuspidate, with the central cusp sligthly longer than the lateral cusps. Style exserted. Capsule equal to the perianth.
