Description:
Bulbs several in a cluster on the rhizome, cylindrical, 5–15 mm long and 5–10 mm thick; tunics brownish, reticulate-fibrous. Stem 15–30 cm tall, smooth, in the lower part covered by slightly scabrous leaf sheaths. Leaves 2–4, ca. 1 mm wide, smooth. Spathe bipartite, shorter than umbel, persistent. Umbel fasciculate, hemispherical, many-flowered, dense. Pedicels equal, 6–10 mm long, without bracteoles at the base. Perianth campanulate; tepals pink, with purple midvein, 3.5–4.5 mm long, acute. Filaments pink, subulate, longer than perianth, at the base connate with the tepals. Anthers purple. Style long exerted. Ovary globose, purple, with crown at the top.
